Sheffield Theatres Coaster
A coaster featuring an illustration of Sheffield’s Crucible Theatre and Lyceum Theatre.
The Crucible, famous for hosting the annual World Snooker Championships, was designed by Tanya Moiseiwitsch and built in 1971.
The Sheffield Lyceum was built in 1897 on the site of a previous Sheffield theatre. It closed in the late 1960s and changed hands multiple times before falling into disrepair. However, the theatre was saved, repaired and reopened in 1990 and is now used for a variety of theatre productions including touring West-End shows.
The coaster features an illustration of two of Sheffield’s theatres – The Crucible and The Lyceum.

The coaster measures approximately 9cm x 9cm and has a gloss finish.
