Calke Abbey in Derbyshire was originally built in the 17th century. The beautiful building now belonging to the National Trust is surrounded by acres of wild parkland and tranquil gardens. Stepping inside, visitors are transported back in time with the rooms frozen in a state of gentle decay to tell the story of decline and neglect.
